The Carpathian Mountains represent the largest area of untouched nature in the Central and Eastern Europe. More than a third of wolves, bears and lynx live in these impressive mountains. At the foot of the Carpathian Mountains lies the village of Sinca Noua, a picturesque small village inhabited by about 2000 persons. Here, the time here has stopped: the shepherds lead their flocks on the mountain as they do for hundreds of years, during the evening, cows and buffalo are reported by their pastures to the village to the sound of the buzzing of insects and the chirping of sparrows and swallows. Hoopoe, bee-eaters, storks and eagles are often seen in these parts to outline an incredible wealth of flowers in all their colors. Ours is a new riding club whose works were completed in 2004, which combines local traditions with the convenience of standard occidental. The center has a new, very modern guesthouse offers mostly organic food product is from a company from the surrounding villages. The horses are Arab and Shagya-Arab, Kisbari, Gidran Hungarian and other crossings. The blend of the horse provides an animal that can be ridden a bit by all, from beginners to experienced riders, discovering between the horses fast and fierce animals, but also horses that are calm. All horses are resistant and full of vitality and are used to the mountains. The owners of the equestrian center, Barbara and Christoph direct the center and they have been promoters, during the last ten years, for the project in favor of the Carpathian Large Carnivore, the largest research project and conservation of large carnivores in the center - east Europe. During this time they gained a great experience with these and are happy to share their stories about wolves, bears and lynxes. As we are speaking, they are again involved in several conservation projects in the hills of Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains.
